Sulfa Drugs Interaction With Synthroid

Is it alright to take Bactrim when you are also taking synthroid?

I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between taking these medications, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure.

Bactrim is an antibiotic, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Bactrim is Sulfameth. If you are allergic to "Sulfa" drugs, also known as"Sulfonamides", DO NOT take the Antibiotics; BACTRIM, or SEPTRA. Also, the diuretic (fluid) pill LASIX. The blood pressure pill LISINOPRIL has also caused a reaction in some people with Sulfa allergies.
