How long do you have to wait to feel an opiote after taking Subutex?

Subutex only contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic opiate. It does not contain the Naloxone that neutralizes them, like Suboxone does.

Immediately. Subutex does not contain naloxone, which is an opiate blocker. They don't give pregnant women Suboxone bc naloxone crosses the placenta & goes straight 2 the baby, but the buprenorphine is still there 2 fill the receptors in your brain 2 keep u from having cravings & having withdrawals. But if you're prescribed Subutex, that means you're pregnant & shouldn't be doing anything else anyways. I did & have regretted it since I had my baby. No baby should have 2 come off of drugs, it's not fair 2 the poor baby! Subutex isn't too bad 4 them. I had 1 just taking Subutex, breastfed on a lower dose & he had absolutely no withdrawal symptoms
