A friend of mine told me her pharmacy told her they were going to be only getting the small round generic subutex tablets. I have always gotten the big ones. I do not like the small ones, I don't abuse them. So has anyone else heard that they are going to quit making the round generic 54 411 suburex
??

@lifesaver,

There haven't been any official announcements from the FDA or drug companies regarding the discontinuation of this pill. So I'm not sure where your friend heard this information, but it's possible that it may not be public news yet if she recently got these details in advance from someone within the company.

The manufacturer of this specific pill is Roxane Laboratories, Inc.

I would suggest contacting them directly for a more accurate answer on what their future plans are with Subutex. Their phone number for technical product information is 1-800-962-8364

I hope this helps!

My friend said her pharmacist told her... She said that they had more of the round white 54 411 pills in stock. But after they ran out of them, there would only be the little ones... So I'm hoping she may have been mistaken.. Because my pharmacy hasn't mentioned it to me.. Thanks so much for the number, that was very helpful..
