If go to suboxone and am on legal script of xanax can I take both

It is going to depend on what agreement your Suboxone doctor requires from you.

Some of them make you sign an agreement to not take any medications from any other doctor, some restrict it to controlled substances and some aren't worried about it, at all, as long as they are legally prescribed, but it can vary from doctor to doctor.

I take 3 8mg. Subs daily for many years now (probley 8yrs.)and I also have extreamly bad anxiety and I'm prescribed Xanax which I take 3a day on most days and I also take ambien every night for sleep. Geeez

I cannot believe that they prescribe you Suboxone films per day. 3 is the most that we are allowed in West Virginia. And we are definitely not allowed to have any benzodiazepine in our system whatsoever. Whether it be Xanax is, Klonopin, or Valium comma

Yes but take your sub in the am, once the anxiety hits take half your prescribed dosage and the other a few hours later the sub, well the narcan will cancel out the xanax, or you can ask you Dr to give you subutex without the narcan. Remember you know your limits not anyone else if you have anxiety once you wake take the xanax and a quarter of the sub, this will make your brain think you've taken the whole sub then 2 hours or so later take the rest of that sub or how ever maNY your on take them.
