Suboxone 54 375

So I have been on Suboxone for years and years. I have had every different generic made and found they all effect me mor or less the same. However, I am having a hard time with these new West-Ward 54 375 generics. This one just doesn’t work the same. I know all generics have the same amount of drug in them but these just real weak and it really pisses me off.

Actually, they do not all have to have the same amount of the active ingredients. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20%. They also do not have to measure against other generics, only against the name brand, so it is conceivable that the new one you are taking was lower in the amount of active ingredients than the prior one.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Has anyone else experienced this with these tablets?

ARE THEY THE FILM KIND. YOU KNOW, THEY LOOK LIKE PLASTIC STRIPS THAT DESOLVE IN YOUR MOUTH. IF SO, I HEARD THEY SUCK ASS REAL BAD. PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY ARE SO MUCH WEAKER THAN THE PILL FORM. IF SO, ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR THE ORIGINAL PILL FORM ONES. I HEARD THEY KICK ASS!!!!

Yes. Ive tried many generics and have only taken them.steadily for 2 months. 2 tabs or strips daily of 8 mg. I felt very little pain reluef and relief of depression. In fact..i felt some actual depression. I waited a few hrs. And took a strip. A million x better. Im soo upset. I need these desperately forvseverecdepression and pain.

I have had the problem of difficult breathing with these. I always got the AN 415 and was taking 1/2 a day and now these light orange 54/375 I must take more and can't breath good. Going to have to talk to my doctor because I can't go on like this. These are not as strong as the other for sure as my pain in my neck, hips and back has gotten worse since I started these. I have tried to give them a chance but I don't want to have to take more! I also can't go on breathing like this as I feel something is very wrong. As for the strips, after taking those for a few days I got a rash that looked like a chemical burn all over my legs which was very uncomfortable with my socks and clothes touching me. Just want my normal life back, wish they had never changed them the first time!

YES!! I've been on subs since 2011 when there was only name brand pills and like original post, I've had every kind of generic around (I think)..long story short, in my state they've been making everyone switch to pills from strips. There's a few of us at work that go to same dr, pharmacy etc...we have been insisting to put us back on strips because (others are saying similar experiences) I've gone from 1/2 to 1 strip per day to 2-3 of these 54 375 pills. I was thinking it was all generic pills and strips was only solution. Until today a friend reminded me that we used to get the AN 415 pills from Walgreens...PROBLEM SOLVED!! I took 1 of the AN 415 pills today and while strips are probably better, these are decent and I don't feel like I'm withdrawing next day and I don't have to take 2 day anymore!!
54 375 PILLS ARE TRASH! GARBAGE! I've been battling this for a few months (so it clearly wasn't a bad 'batch'.. so relieved to have figured it out cos it's damn near impossible to get insurance to pay for strips in my state now
