Started My First Pack On Tuesday

Ok so I've been on sprintec for about 2weeks. I started my pills on a tuesday. Is it bad that I didn't start on a sunday or the after my period? If so, for my next pack should I wait wednesday, thursday, and friday without taking the pill. So I can start on a sunday? Or should wait for my period? Please reply anything will help.

nope your body can't tell the difference between sunday and tuesday. My packs come with little stickers you can put over the days so that whatever day you start will be first

Kate is correct, there is really no specific day that you have to start them on. Most doctors just tell patients to start them on Sunday to try to help create the habit of taking them, so their patients don't miss any pills.

If you start them and you aren't on your menstrual cycle, then you aren't protected immediately and will have to wait 7 days for them to reach their full effectiveness, but the day of the week doesn't matter, at all.
