Could you look at the identifying numbers/letters closer as I don't seem to be able to find this pill even in the electronic PDR. Thanks.

The L is capped. Maybe that was the mistake?

This is a medication called Elavil or amitriptalyne (I don't exactly know how to spell the generic name.) Anyway, it is commonly used for depression but has also been used for people who have a lot of nerve pain or nerve damage like foot neuralgia from diabetes., etc. It is non-narcotic but can make you very tired. Doctors use it for a sleeping aid as well for folks. Hope this helps.

I have a few more if you don't mind. I found a bottle of random pills. One is small and orange/yellow, round in shape and has 563 on one side and what looks like pliva around the edge of the second side. Also, a medium sized blue pill with C177 engraved on one side.

I don't mind at all. The first one, 563 is something called Flexeril. It is a non-narcotic muscle relaxer. It can make you tired so be careful. The second one C177 is a beta-blocker or a heart medication used for people who have irregular heartbeats. It's called Betapace. I wouldn't take that one unless it was prescribed for you for a heart problem. I hope this all helps.

You are very welcome. It also sounds like they might have been elderly or folks with various medical issues!
