Skin Rashy

I am 58 and suffering from high blood pressure. I recently was taking coveram 10/10 mg and natrilix SR. I however noticed that I had some rash on my skin but was unable to say if it was related to being allergic to the tablets. I also is now suffering from excessive scalp irritation. I took these tablet for approximate 4 months. Since november I am switched to enalapril maleate 10 mg and amlodipine besylate. I also realize that I have been experiencing elevated pulse reading which is over 80 sometimes and this morning at one 108 then it came back down to 77. What do I do.

Hello, Maxi! How are you?

It is normal for your heart rate to fluctuate. Just like your blood pressure it will change throughout the day and can be affected by activity, caffeine, anxiety, nervousness and even air temperature.

And since it did come back down, without medical intervention, it may not be something to worry about.

However, have you consulted your doctor? They would be best qualified to advise you.
