I have started taking Citalopram to treat my deppression i am on 10mg tablets i cant sleep at night is this normal? I am going on holiday soon and want to know if i can drink also i worry about my weight will it go up whilst taking these tablets?

I have been on 20mg per day for just over a year now, i have not put weight on but aint lost any either, i got really tired when i first started taking it but are fine now, also i have a drink on a weekend, i was advised not to drink while taking them but i have been fine. These tablets have been a life saver to me and my family

I can't sleep on citalopram so have to take melatonin to sleep, they have not done anything to my weight and only affected me whilst drinking in my first month on them
