I hv taking thyronorm 25 mg. During pregnancy I'm depressed and afraid to take medicine. Is any natural ways for getting sleep? I get good sleep after delivery?

It really depends on the severity of your thyroid issue, your levels should be checked regularly via a blood sample, and your dosage adjusted as needed. Yes, some people do require such a medication for the rest of their lives.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hair loss, mood changes, and weight changes.

Iswarya, this medication is not usually used to help with sleep issues. Why did your doctor prescribe it? Are you on any other medications?

Hi I'm 21 and I had 7.76 tsh..then the doctor prescribed me to take thyronorm of 25 mcg...after 3 months I checked my thyroid and it was normal..so I stopped taking medicine...but later I gained weight so again I checked my thyroid and it was 10.76 tsh...then again I started taking thyronorm of 25 mcg...but nowadays I am noticing that I am gaining weight..so can I increase my dose to 75?
