I used to take this medication and I stopped because of non stop coughing,I even thought that I had TB....till a different doctor suggested I change my medication ,he prescribed AMLOC 10mg...within 3 days all the coughing stopped completely.... my advice is ask your doctor to put you on different medication...

I would recommend against taking it at night, Prexum Plus is a diuretic and you will need to urinate about every hour through the night. I started taking this drug after Aortic valve replacement in 2006, it made me extremely dizzy, even whilst sitting, so I stopped taking them at that time and now am taking them again, with the same side effect. This time I have discovered that if I remove my glasses, the dizziness goes away, so I am still taking them.

I have been taking prexum for the past 3 months and I have developed this cough that doesn go away. I went to my clinic and they said I have throat infection and they prescribed anti-biotics and lozenges. The coughing stopped for a bit , but now its back again. Please advise.
Its almost like a wet cough and the doctor who checked me said I didnt have TB.
