It doesn't matter what is being treated, all medications carry the risk of side effects and there is no way to say which will cause less for anyone person. All medications can affect people differently.

Delfazacort is a glucocorticoid used to treat inflammation and suppress the immune system.

Omnacortil is Prednisone, a corticosteroid.

These are closely related medications and both can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsinss, dry mouth and weight gain.

my mom is suffering from autoimmune hameolytic anamiea since last 4yrs , she is taking omnacortil since thn which has many side effects. can u plz help me wht can cure her permanantely n hw can she get rid of omnacortil .some day or the other something new is coming up as a side effect of this medicine.

i am aged 61 yrs& suffering from copd since last 4 yrs. docter has prescribed inhalers &monocortil 6 to be taken 1/2 alternate day i am doing well but affraid of the steroid kly suggest. thanks
