Hi, Veena!

Levipil contains the active ingredient Levetiracetam, it's an anticonvulsant and animal studies have shown that it may have an adverse effect on the baby, but no human studies have been done.

If you suffer from seizures, you need to consult your doctor to weight the possible benefits and risks of your medical condition and the medication, then you can make an information decision on what you should do.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Im having Levipil XR 750 since 8 months now. I'm a married woman aged 36 and want to know if I have to conceive will the medicine have any effect on the baby. And if I have to undergo some medications or laproscopic surgery of my uterus since it is T-shaped will it effect my health. Please advise me on this as my gynaec has suggested me to go for a hysterolaproscopy of the uterus.
