i have being suffering from epilepsy since 2005 before i was taking desval500 only once i got attack for a little then a second
for a few day s so doctor changed my medicine i am suppose to take 1 desval with 1/2 levera in the night i feel weak sleepy

All medications carry the risk of causing side effects and those can be normal ones for anticonvulsants as listed by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain.

However, seizures are far more dangerous than feeling weak and sleepy for awhile, while your body gets used to a new medication.

How long have you been on this new regimen?
