Hello, I had been on insulin for 4 yrs but sugar level dropd very low(45-60).Dr stopped insulin & started Glycomet gp2 forte before meal & JalraM 50/1000 after meal twice a day.but i feel loss of appetite, flatulence & feeling of going to toilet after every meal.Is it ok or taking insulin is better to avoid the sideeffects of drugs

My sugar are somewhat controled Plz advise

Those are normal side effects that can be associated with these oral antidiabetic medications.

Are you sugars controlled or just somewhat controlled?

I'd think they'd be controlled if they were dropping that low often enough for your doctor to have you stop taking the insulin.

And as to the proper medications for you, that is something you need to discuss with your doctor. They may be able to lower your dosage to relieve some of these side effects, or even have you stop a medication if your sugars are very well controlled.
