Side Effect Of Clonazepam

i am taking feliz s plus 5 half a tablet in the morning daily for two years how do i stop it and what are the side effects
i take half tablet of cpzam 0.25mg at night

is there any harm

Hi Mustafa,

I've been on clonazapan and just went off of it, I never had any withdrawls from it and seemed to be fine. If you don't feel this is an option or have other health concerns, go to your dose every other night for one week, then try every three days, see how you do. It's called winging yourself. It's the safest way and exactly how a doctor would do it.

There is one major precaution that hasn't been mentioned that must be pointed out here…


A sudden withdrawal from long-term use of benzodiazepines, such as this, creates the risk of dangerous seizures. So please, do not stop abruptly!

The best thing to do would be to see your prescriber and follow a proper tapering schedule.
