My dr want to take me off of my dilaudids (240) 4 MG per month. the reason is because some one called my dr and told him that i am shooting them up. i showed him my arms and told him i dont and he belived me but said he has to protect his office. he gave me 2 weeks of my d's because my medicaid is not working at this time and d's do not coast that much. he told me he wants to but me on Kadians or Avinza. i talked to the pharmacy and they daid that kadian and avinza will not be coverd by my medicaid even when it is turned back on cas it is a name brand. i dont want to be taken off my d's so i am getting as much info on all types of morphine that i can i have seen on here that u can shoot up (injected) kadian and avinza. so i need anyone one help to tell me if you can shoot up the othere kinds of morphine. i have info on how to shoot up avinza, kadian, MS Contin, oramorph SR. i need infor on MSIR, Roxonol and morphine IR thanks for your help. i do not shoot up i take my med like iam told i am not here to put any down i am just trying to keep the med that helps me with my pain, it has takin years to find what works for me and i am just so upsit that this is happon to me. i suffered for really bad head ach for years do to disks in my neck. i now can live a pain controlled life and take care of my kids and play with them.

PleaseHelp, people manage to shoot up virtually any medication that they want to, all it requires is some basic knowledge and the determination. You're not really going to find any abuse proof medications.

Purdue Pharma has even released a special formulation of Oxycontin to help keep people from doing that, but if you read over various posts about it on our site, you'll see that people have still figured out various ways to abuse it.

The information on shooting up one type of Morphine would apply to the others, there is really nothing new for you to learn on that.

Shooting up any medication that isn't intended to be used in that manner is very dangerous. Most tablets, especially the time released ones, contain fillers that are not meant to be broken down by the human body, but are normally expelled as waste. If you inject them, you are putting these fillers in your body in a manner in which it cannot process them out. This creates the risk of blockages, that could result in strokes or embolisms.

Vicodin contains the active ingredients Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever.

Common side effect may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

Talwin is a very good pain medication that comes in pill form only. When it first came out in the 1980's, it was abused terribly by people shooting it in their veins. The effects were almost identical to Heroin. Then the manufacturers added Narcan to Talwin. The Talwin pills work just as well as they did before, but when someone tries to shoot Talwin, the Narcan completely blocks all of the effects of Talwin. They may as well shoot up water.
I hope this helps,

Thanks so much for the post. I live in the USA and feel like a drug addict every time I walk into my pain doctors office or the Emeregency Room. I guess people think we are all there to get drugs to shoot. 10 years ago I was diagnosed with an Arachnoid Cyst on my spinal chord. I have had to endure 18 major surgeries since to remove cyst from my cervical spine to my lumbar spine to keep walking. I would give anything to never see or have to talk to a pain doctor again & sure would never take a pain pill. But I have to for now just to get out of bed and try to live a normal life. Again thanks for informing people that a pain meds can't be injected for just getting high.
