Hello, Jessica! How are you?

Teva lists this tablet as containing 2mgs of Diazepam.

The FDA classifies this medication as a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Is there anything else I can help with?

What stength is a 2mg Diazepam tablet? Is it less strength than a 5mg Diazepam tablet or more strength than a 5mg Diazepam tablet? Does the 2mg mean like the strength of 20mg like if you put 2 of the 10mg together or like if you put 2 of the 1mg,, which is same milligram as a 10mg, if you put them together

Re: Brandy (# 3)

A 2mg diazepam (generic Valium) tablet is just that; 2mg. It's less than the 5 or 10mg pill. Diazepam does not come in one milligram strength. It generally only comes in strengths of 2, 5, or 10 milligrams. One 10mg diazepam is equivalent to 1mg of alprazolam or clonazepam.

The 2mg diazepam are one of the weakest benzodiazepine pills you can get. They're generally used as antispasmodics, where as stronger dosages of diazepam are used for typical or common benzodiazepine indications (i.e. withdrawals, anxiety, sedation).
