i had unprotected sex..i used an i-pill within 12hr and withn nxt hr a regestrone 5mg tablet 4 four days.. r dere any chances of me gtng preagnant! i am worried plz help

Hi, Aaruhi! Sorry about the dilemma you've found yourself in.

And yes, there is always a chance that you could still be pregnant, though it is a very small chance. Emergency contraceptives have a high efficacy rating and then backing it up with the Regestrone for a few days also lowers the risk.

When did you stop taking it and have you started bleeding, yet?

The Regestrone is a synthetic progesterone and while high amounts are needed to support a pregnancy, the sudden withdrawal of it can prevent pregnancy or cause miscarriage of an existing pregnancy, which is why it's used as an emergency contraceptive.

If it turns out that you aren't pregnant, then I'd suggest you look into getting yourself some regular form of contraception, to prevent this happening again in the future. The safest permanent form would be the copper T IUD, but condoms are also another good option, since they help protect you from STDs.

i stopped taking the regestrone tab on 15th june 2013 and still now i did not have any kind of bleeding.... i had an abortion twice and now i cant go for it because i am at my home, my periods date is on 20th of the month...what are the chances ....any step to abort the pregnancy if it is positive....plssss help...

hi i also have the confusiopn as her. i had my peroid on 24-28th june and had unprotected sex on 30th of june and on 5th july. now today at 1st august. the period has'nt come yet.

i too had 2 abortion earlier this year with MTP by cipla.
now i am not in the situation to do it, as i am at my home. somebody has suggested me to have regestrone 5mg tab. please suggest me. what should i do to have my regular periods. from now on i'll never have unprotected sex. NEVER EVER> plz help.....

Me and my gitlfriend had unprotected sex twice yesterday and she is taking regestrone or her irregular periods c had her mensus 35 days ago... I ask her to take emergengy contraceptive she said nothing will happen as regestrone will act as emergengy contraceptive. What are the chances of her to get pregnant.. Please help I dont want baby... And what if she gets pregnant.. Please help

hi im angel 18 yrs old i had an unprotected sex with my bf on 23 sep. an i was scared so i took i pill on 24 sep. in sep i got my petiods normaly bt in oct. i got my periods bt aftr 5 days im stll gettng my priods ....dctr recomnded me regestrone 5 mg.....i thre any chances og gttng pregnant plz plz do rply

Hi sir, my last period was on 15 th april 2018. After that on 24th and 27th we have intercourses both of day i took I pill and I found bleeding on 29 and 30.
Then again on 11th may we have unprotected sex bt I not took tablet and still up to 30th may I didn't get periods. I had chked pregnancy and it is positive. Bt I don't won't these now..
What should I do to terminate this pregnancy...
