Worried Mother Says:

I found a red capsule with a white stripe in the middle. The letter L on one side and the number 2 on the other. Can anyone please tell me what this is? I see a few people have asked the same question.

Is it an actual capsule or would it be considered a caplet?

If it is a caplet with this marking, then it appears to contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen and is a generic or store brand of Tylenol Rapid Release, commonly used to treat pain, fever and swelling.

Common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation.

I found one and it was walgreens tension headache relief (acetaminophen 500mg and caffeine 65mg). It has no other mark or sign.
