Qualitest Manufacturer

I need to find, for my pharmacy, Trazadone by Qualitest. I take three daily. I have been on other manufacturers since February of last year and having problems. The one they have me on now has me crying easily and I cannot get going to do anything. Once I get going, I act like I am in a hurry all the time. My pharmacy tried the ones I am on now 2 years ago and I had problems then. Can someone help?

I know from personal interaction the other manufacturers are not the same chemical compositions. The results are obviously different. The absolute worst one is PLIVA. While on that, I even let my electricity get cut off. I worry for other patients, too. I was sent to another pharmacy and given Apotex last night. I found Qualitest myself a couple of years ago and the pharmacy I use ordered it for me and placed my name on the bottle. They are gone and I cannot remember where I found them. I told the pharmacy and trusted them with the information. Prescribers be aware.

Any pharmacy can order the product from any specific manufacturer, but typically, they only carry the most inexpensive option that their distributor had, at the time they needed to reorder. Some will order another in for you, especially if you pay any possible difference in price, if it costs more, but not all, and they aren't obligated to do so.

Have you spoken to your doctor? They may be able to write that it is medically necessary for you to have one from a specific manufacturer.

The FDA lists the side effects of Trazodone as possibly including nausea, dizziness, sedation, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes.

How long have you been taking the current dose? You may also need a dosage adjustment, as our bodies due to tend to get used to a certain dosage, after we have been on it for a period of time.

Qualitest was purchased by par pharmaceuticals a few years ago .... par closed the qualitest facility in alabama (where they made the hydrocodone yellow football shape with v on it) I don't know if they stopped making what you are looking for but I think they stopped making hydrocodone in favor of the crappy ones par already made ...... I guess you could call par pharmaceuticals & ask them ... when they bought qualitest the U S office was some where in New York ...
