Pur-bloca Side Effects, Also Combination With Ativan?

I have taken Pur-Bloka previously, with not much luck. Being a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, having bipolar2 stabelised, I experience my emotions grabbing hold. (I did not want to be so anxious that I faint, or have an attack! in the aistle ) My Pshyciatrist was unavailable to provide me with a calming aid, so i saw one of her collegues. She prescribed Pur-Bloka. As she instructed, i took one tab 2hrs before the weddingand only became more worked and experienced such hot flashes! Ok, long story short. I have had alot of stress at work and my job is encreadably demanding. too many things came at me, and this afternoon i had the worst attack. I emmediately took a 40mg Pur-Bloka. I felabsolutely no difference, undrstanding that they do take a while. My mom arrived 10-15min later with the Ativan, which works extremely well usually. My mood calmed after about 30min. Within the next hour I noticed that my vision was blurry, thinking it might still be from the attack. I have double vision, blurred vision. and slight hallucination. (I have never experienced it before) is this a side-effect of having taken both meds? or should i see my doctor?

Ativan does have a side effect of blurry vision. please see benzo.org.uk for more insight into Ativan and other benzo drugs.

Pur-Bloka contains the active ingredient Propranolol, while it is sometimes used to help with anxiety, it is not as effective as most other medications for anxiety, and it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure.

The symptoms you're experiencing could be from it, especially if your blood pressure has gone a little too low. According to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, headache, and increased urination.
