1st, Sorry you are having so much trouble finding a Dr to get your medicine! But..., you have to be the one to find a Dr for your needs, no one else!! Xanax is a NARCOTIC and has to be gotten LEGALLY! ~ I've had trouble the last few months getting GOOD XANAX, Because pharmacies want to divey out drugs that aren't made correctly and makes ppl Sick!! ????. AVOID the manufacturer "Breckenridge!!!",, their Xanax made me deathly sick!! +, ALOT OF other folks! ~> Take care and do your home work on meds!! ??????

Pharmacy and it's the only kind I think my insurance covers..do I ask the doc to change the brand or pharmacy?

There are some awful cheap makers of pharmaceuticals on the market today. Offhand Aurobindo & Breckenridge are universally despised. Your insurance does not care nor dictate the brand of generic medicine you get. The Doctor has no say, that is strictly up to the Pharmacy. The Doctor can specify the name brand only, but chances are insurance would not cover it. You can always ask around to different places to find the medicine that works or doesn't work for you
