I'm looking for a psychiatrist in the Oklahoma City area who is willing to prescribe xanax or meds like it. I have severe anxiety with crippling panic attacks and have tried almost every other med out there but everything else seems to either not work or make it worse. Being that I'm a young person doctors tend to be reluctant to prescribe me meds like that so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bad news dr. Maria Kane lost het license to practice medicine. I live in Dallas now. When I lived in Oklahoma City I went to her office on Classen Boulevard. Seen her a couple times. Yes I got my Valium. But she was not keeping accurate records. The DEA took her license because of that. I never liked her office anyway. The last time I was supposed to see her. She left the country to see her family during the time frame in which I was supposed to see her for an appointment. She did not inform me of this. When I feel like contacting her she was very rude. So good for her she got what she deserved.

Who are you seeing in the Dallas area? I need a prescription for Valium by April. We are flying to Australia. I had an old school Dr. in Atlanta that had no problem writing Valium scripts for International flights. I can't find anyone in DFW. They all want to stick with Xanax or Klonopin which is fine for GAD but Valium works the best for me on long flights. I only need 1 script for a couple of 10mg.

Did you ever find a doctor?i live in oklahoma and there is a few doctors that actually care about people with anxiety and they actually want fo help. Unfortunately alot of doctors are scarred or dont care.

The same thing happened to me with Mrs. Kane. She lied to me and all her clients. She told us that she informed all of patients that she was leaving for a month in order to go see her family back in India. That we needed to prearrange to get our meds before she goes. She never mentioned this to any of her patients. I hope she had to move back to India!!!! She was a snake! And got what she deserved. Now I am in need of a doc that will prescribe me diazepam. I just moved back from Dallas. I had a great doc who was a D.O. and he did psych. His office visit was only 57.00. And I got two refills on my diazepam. He would only give me 60 pills per month. That worked fine by me. So, if I have no luck finding a doc to prescribe here in good ole okc. I will be going back to Dallas every 3 months for my meds. Fine by me. I have been seeing the Dallas Doctor for the last four years. He will by no means cut me off. But, if anyone knows a good inexpensive benzo Doctor here in the okc area. Please pass along the information. Thank you.

Ok. His name is Dr. Coates. 5915 Murphy rd. North side of Dallas. 67.00 office visit. You get 2 refills also. But, he will only give you 2 tabs a day. But, they will be the 10 mg strength. He has wonderful bedside manners. And, you will be in and out in less than one hour. Merry Christmas. Understand this, he will not give out ANY opiates. He's cool wit benzos.

My doctor is Dr. Maria Kane. She will not prescribe Xanax unless you were already prescribed it from another doctor and she only does once a month no refills and the co-pay is $95, so I am looking for a new doctor.

I don't question anyone's need for medicine during this horrible Trump Plague. I understand the Doctor's rules, but we are living in a new reality. If the Doctor feels the patient could benefit from a Benzodiazepine I'm sure it would be considered unless the Doctor has been sanctioned for writing too many controlled prescriptions. I know one of my Doctors was ordered not to prescribe opioids, and was ordered to Psychotherapy if he was to keep his license. Basically it boils down to how you present yourself

She's still in practice on classen. Last visit for me she said she was "retiring" as someone had also collapsed and was being taken out by ambulance. Her guy who was always at the counter was rushing and they were packing up stuff fast. It was really sketchy. She disappeared for a bit but looks like she's back at it! Wild to say the least.

I quit going because she will not up my meds and is cash only... In the waiting room a married couple offered to sell their bars Xanax 2 mg. THEY BOTH GET 90 EACH. I asked Dr Kane why she does not up my dose, YET SHE IS WRITING SCRIPTS TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT TAKING ANY!! SHE REFERRED ME TO RED ROCK OR GRIFFIN!!

I saw Dr. KANE 5-23-23 & left w/ the same anxiety issues I had. No new script, been on Xanax since 06, lost my Gp and have been struggling to find another. Was a Ritilan kid, etc, no bs, needing to be chilled out, but can't find a Dr.
