My 66 year old mother went for a knee replacement operation and ended up in icu. She suffered Pulmonary embolism and has moisture on her lungs. She takes eltroxin and premex plus 4mg. The doctor changed her eltroxin to .5mg and changed her blood pressure medication to concor. She now slurs and gets very hypertensive. Is concor a better blood pressure tablet and is it good to change her dossage of eltroxin from 1.mg and 1.5mg every second day to .5mg daily?

Good morning in September last year my GP put me on to premex (lowest dosage). Since then I have gained 9kgs, no change to my eating or drinking habits, could it be caused by the tablet.
