You'll be fine. 60 MG is still a starting dose. Perhaps be more careful next time? ;/

If it happened to me, I would still take my Percocet, sleeping pills, and muscle relaxers.

No do NOT mix perocet with muscle relaxers and sleeping pills. It will interfere with your respiratory system. Remember what happened to Heath Ledger? First of all, 20mg of percocet is awfully high on its own. Don't compound the risk.

And as to the other reply, 60mg IS NOT a starting dose for percocet. That is insane. They only make 10mg and a compounding pharmacy might make 20mg. But 60 is ridiculous and dangerous.

Just to clear things up for post #3... ines mentioned that he took 60mgs of Prednisone, NOT Percocet.

And the usual adult dose for anti-inflammatory conditions are in fact reported to be anywhere from 5 to an upwards of 60 mgs per day. So as Darwinski suggested, I think he should be fine when it's all said and done.

As to the other topic, I wasn't aware that they made 20mg Percocets either? 10mg is listed as the maximum available dosage on all the drug monographs I've come across. Perhaps 'ines' may be thinking about Oxycodone instead?

But these medications were already prescribed to her. Yes ur right benzodiazepines and opiates do affect CN.
But with the prednisone that will cancel out.
But sounds like her dr is prescribing these to her at sake time.
Plus it depends on the MG dose.
Just cuz u take BNZO and opiates doesn't mean Ull die.

The original post was talking about accidentally taking 60mg of prednisone not percocet. The person wants to know if it'd be okay to take percocet or another medication that causes drowsiness on top of that. Which is understandable because prednisone causes extreme insomnia.

To the original poster- as another person said 60mg of prednisone is a normally prescribed starting dose. I would double check for any interactions between prednisone and the specific medication you want to take on webMD.

Hello everybody,
I was tapering off my prednisone at 5mg. Then accidently I started taking 13 mg a day
for about a week. I had some 5 mg tablets left over from before and I started taking
them instead of 1 mg. Anyway, what should I do now? Go back to 5 mg a day or
taper off from 13 mg slowly? Thanks
