My mom was prescribed this and she will not tell me why. She has stage 2 hypertension & her eyes are very grey around the edge. She is just shy of 50 years old & I would like to know what would cause this. She also has shortness of breath and is an adiment smoker. She wont tell me what is wrong and it worries me. She doesnt like goingthe doctor which worries me even more.

My doctor prescribed me to drink Prednisone because my tonsil is swelling and I experience hoarseness as I have cough. I am advised to drink it after eating meals during breakfast, lunch and dinner within 5 days. Is it safe?
