Found a clear, sealed, plastic bag with four different unidentified pills (no imprints or markings). They're all different sizes but two are elliptical - one reddish maroon and one with gray, white, and blue specks. The other two are sort of rectangular/elliptical and one is a lighter yellow and the other is tan with orange or red specks. Anyone know what they are?

When it comes to pills that don't have any markings, it can be difficult to determine what they contain with any certainty.

In most cases, they are just over the counter products and when it comes to that market, there are many different possibilities.

They can be ruled out as being U.S. manufactured prescription tablets, because those are all required to have markings to enable their identification. The same is true of manufactured capsules.

However, when it comes to capsules, if it is something that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy, then it will not have markings on it.

There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication, since most are not regulated as strictly as those in the U.S. and Canada.

Are there any comments or questions?

Does anyone recognize any of these?
