my doctor just proscribed this to me and i was given 10 pills and told if my period didnt start to contact him it depends on how off your hormone levels are he should have taken blood to check that as well after you take your pills however many he gave you and you have no results you will have to contact your doctor so he can refill your prescription and up your dosage.

I was give medroxyprogeterone acetaten to delay my period for a out of town trip on Sept 7th. I was told to start the medication two weeks after my cycle and take a pill for 30 days. I started August 27th. My trip has been delayed until Sept 28th. Can I stop the medication after taking for 7 days to have a period? I need to be off my period Sept 28th for at least a week.
