The marking is actually PVK 500 GG 950, this is Penicillin V Potassium 500mgs, an antibiotic used to treat many types of infections.

i have a bacterial skin infection i have some penicillin vk 500mg tablets left over from another infection i had a couple months ago left over from a refill iam asking how many i should take a day for this new infection it is a similiar infection as the last one that i got this prescription for but infection is not as severe as last one and i am starting medication before it gets to same severity as originaly was giving medication for my question is i was originaly suppose to take one 500mg pen vk tablet 4 times daily for last infection how many should i take a day for this new bacterial infection remember this new infection i am catching earlier by taking medication before it gets as bad as last infectionso should i take meds 4 times daily as prescribed for last infection or should i take less this time cause injury isnt half as severe as original infection and also i am treeting a lot earlier then last infection whats the most average way this medicine is prescribed to take number of pills daily and how many days to take them for remember when last prescribed the infection i was being treated for was more severe then and ignored longer before seeking treetment then this time i started takeing meds today hours after getting infection as soon as i noticed the redness setting in around new injury please respond asap thank you
