Penicillin And Sulfur Allergy

Is sulfur in penicillin s21 pills? I'm allergic to sulfur and have a bad toothache. Will penicillin help me out or make me sick? Please advise.

Was it prescribed for you by a physician or dentist that knows you are allergic to sulfur?

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

The inactive ingredients can vary, so while there is no direct sulfur in them, there might be derivatives. What specifically are you allergic to?
