I am taking omez 20mg from last more than 10 years. Now Dr. prescribed me for Pantocid dsr for 10 days . tell me the side effects of this medicine.

This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs.

The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

how long can i take pantacid DSR. I am aged 49 years.

2 months ago while parking my car at the underground basement I had trouble breathing so panicked. Breathing returned to normal when I burped a few times. After that day i had this uncomfortable experience occasionally. So went to a cardiologist who prescribed some antacids(rabeprazole sodium (EC) 20 mg, domperidone (SR) 30 mg). Subjected me to a Tread mill test and a chest x ray which were normal. Then I went to allergy and chest specialist who after allergy test( blood ) diagnosed that I have acidity problem and prescribed me (Omeprazole and Cinitapride capsules) and synbiotic capsules. These medicine provided a lot of relief and acidity was gone but lots of gas was still there. I took the synbiotic for one month and am continuing with one capsule of antacid till recently. My lower abdomen is usually most of the time bloated. I stopped the Omeprazole and Cinitapride capsules 5 days ago and the acidity is back. I have slight blood pressure ( 135/88 ) was prescribed natrillix 1.5 mg and Tonact 10 but have not been Taking them due to my stomach.Do I suffer from IBS or some other condition? I would like you to advise me what to do further ?

I am not a doctor but if you are having the gas problems only in the eveninsg (or 4-5 hours after the meal), it may be due to digestion problem which you control by carefully removing the food items that are causing the gas in your stomach. If this is not the case, take professional advise.
