Pain Specialist Accepting New Pt In Denver Without Referral

old pcp cut off all meds w referalls to pain dr.so moved denver temporarily.need see pain specialist & psychiatrist for meds.referral in old sate useless, wont fill current pain meds or xanex. 11 yrs on oxycontin, er and quick release.2 wks withdrawals now. not well . high anxiety attacks without pain meds. cant seem get in anywhere here in denver

Stuck, have you searched on google. What medications are you on other then Oxycontin. Many have had to travel but now that the FDA has the 120 mg. morphine equivalent physicians are not eager to take anyone or write. Most of us have had to cut back I am in trouble searching for a physician as well. I hope you did not go off a high amount cold turkey for you will need help medically you cannot do this alone. You also as a last resort should seek a methadone clinic to save your life in the meantime.

p450- ty. yep ive tried searching, dont have much money. nobody takes medicare or medicaid. im on disability due to TBI 11 yrs ago, permanent brain damage. meds help control anxiety, pysch as well as pain from several accidents, and brain damage. trying to locate a pain specialist near downtown, where I'm staying temporarily as well. I dont have transportation yet. i figured out lite rail though. since im only 30, and started these heavy meds at 20yrs old, its hard due to my age dealing with drs. i can handle taking a cut in amount, if I can get into a psychiatrist to help with anxiety and ptsd. I wont do methadone. its even worse- goes to your bones. I just need get started back on something, even half dose to even function. the mmj helps slightly but not much. ive got copies of medical records from pcp, and huge folder of history. i'm still looking on webpages. I had one psychiatrist, really nice get me asap she says, then after holiday, wont answer phone or return messages..? so searching again.

Stuck I am total SSDI too now fighting due to local Texas office was injured at work (RN BS) in 90's. Apprently two levels attack one for attempting a job (got fired of course as I have progressed to Central Pain) and never meet the test of time just above SGA. Philadelphia NEVER attempted to deny and comp carrier is 100% medical for life so SSA expects them to pay medications for example all other surgery etc. But the locals over here and had to bring documents for them to scan stole the case from Philadlephia and pulled this in the meantime a HUB sends an overpayment letter this is how Odumma is screwing Americans a great way to beef up the SSA fund whereas those of us who paid get nothing and indigents get that and a right to street dope.

Why would you move out there alone if you cannot drive bro come on that is nuts. Colorado is a loopy state. Terrible. I know about Methadone and like the patches which I must have due to P450 and liquid for SA as pills do not work for me never did now that they have testing to prove the same.

I was out with Dr. F. Tennant in California the past 5 years now California regulations hurt 30 of us from out of state; sure we could keep going and receive next to nothing in medication. And he of all people well let's leave that for now.
