Hello, Sundowner! How are you?
You'll need to see a specialist to have such medications prescribed, due to the new requirements set forth by the DEA last year.
The FDA lists this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
