I need to know about this medicine. I have been taking Oxycodone-APAP 7.5/325 mg (Mallin). Last month the pharmacy changed my brand to Endocet 7.5/325. Does not work as well. Still have pain with the same doseage. I only take 2 a day. Now this month I recieved from the same parmacy 7.5/325 Oxycodon-Acetaminopen (Alvoge). Now I think it has caused me to have heart palpatations and some breathing difficulty. I also caused me to have a headache. My head feels thick in the back. Now all these meds are supposed to be the same but I beg to differ with them. I really dont like taking them but I want something to take the pain away not kill me. I stil have pain with all this. My Dr has decreased the dosage from 3 xs a day to 2 xs a day. But now @ nite I take two extra strength tylonel to get thru the night. Is there any other meds I can take that will work without killing my insides or my body. Liver enzymes are up , gallbladder is only functioning 10% now. Been taking this type of meds since 2004. I still hurt after all the surgery they did. Need some answers please!!!!!!

Hello, Mama! How are you? I am very sorry about the problems you're having.

In light of your liver enzymes being up, it might be best if you took something without the Acetaminophen in it, such as just Oxycodone by itself. You'd need a slightly higher dose to be equivalent, though.

What type of doctor are you seeing? You'd likely do better with a pain management specialist, if you aren't seeing one now.

Please don't take Tylenol with this med. You can get liver damage. Also if you start having muscle cramps, stop the oxy immediately. They can get worse and worse. See if your doctor can give you hydrocodone, it is gentler.

Please don't take extra Tylenol, over the counter, with a Tylenol based pain killer. Tylenol is a poison and will kill your liver. Also oxycodone can give you myoclonus, a severe muscular disorder. Be careful
