I wonder if you have something else going on? Have you seen a doctor and told them that you've these symptoms for the past 6 months? Oxybutinin is for an over-active bladder. It may cause the dry mouth when you are taking it, but should go away when you stop taking it. There is a disease called "Sjogren's Syndrome" that causes a dry mouth, dry eyes, cracked lips. It is an auto-immune disease--a type of arthritis. There may be something else going on--6 months is a long time to continue having side effects. Something else may be going on and may have started about the time you stopped taking the oxybutinin.

I was diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome by a dentist. Next time you have a dental appointment, you might want to mention it. ( if you do have it, let me know if there is any treatment for the dry mouth--everything I've tried hasn't worked).
