I need to find a doctor that is willing to write oxycontin scripts in Colorado Springs CO. My doc of many years retired. I have advanced osteoarthritis in all my joints and spine. I have had 3 hip replacements, major reconstruction ankle surgery and the radial head of my elbow removed just to name a few. also partake in some recreational drugs, which obviously is an important factor in referring me a do . With deepest appreciation, Keith

Hi I'm in Teller county. Wish I could give you the name of a doctor, but that's been a problem for all of the chronic pain patients in Teller county since last year when our doctor retired. Have several friends in the Springs that are facing the same problem. They have to make the appointment, after finding a doctor who is accepting "pain patients", then go through all the Q & A, office visit expense, then to find out the "pain medication" is a "designer drug" that doesn't work for them. Let me know how it turns out for you.

There's a link on here "Doctors willing to prescribe heavy pain medication in Colorado", but that group is in Aurora/Denver area and go to a clinic there. I've asked them several times for information, perhaps they know people in the Springs, but haven't gotten any input from any of them. You could try, maybe you would have better luck with them.

Last one LOL. Have you tried an ER? Opana ER seems to be the ticket for my pain relief.

Sorry, no I don't. That's the problem everyone seems to be having. Have you tried Peak Vista, sliding scale clinic. They used to, have no idea if they still do.
