First off, I would like to state, that if you fear you have taken to much of any medication and your health may be in danger, please DO NOT post on a free website and await an answer, call your doctor, poison control or go to the nearest Emergency Care center.

Triamterence is a diuretic, used most commonly in the treatment of high blood pressure.

If you take too much, you do run the risk of dehydration as well as some possibly organ damage.

Some of the most common side effects may include: nausea, headache, dry mouth and frequent urination.

You can read more about this medication here:

Is there anything else I can help you with?
