Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Page 8)

Updated

I use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.

Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

The white round "54 411" 8mg buprenorphine tablets are manufactured by "WEST-WARD" who acquired Roxanne. Trust me, I would know... was in deals with McKesson and the white ones are not as good. They're also wayyy harder to come off of when the other ones work better and you can detox easier and quicker...

No, it's a sublingual pill... Meaning under your tongue. How the f*** would they be time released?!

Re: JknowsIt (# 123) Expand Referenced Message

Yeah, same chemical buprenorphine is being used but they do not by any means have the EXACT SAME DESIGN in their chemical make-up. In fact, there are ingredients used in the orange brand that aren't even used in the white ones. The orange half moons are weaker to me. It is my opinion overall but my personal fact. It is not in my head. For one month I lived a completely different life because my pharmacy gave me these bs half moons when I normally had my Roxanne labs white ones. I sweat, I had restless legs, I had tears in my eyes every morning. I was in a state of partial withdrawal for an entire month because of this horrible s*** brand. The day I go get my white ones back I took my first normal s*** and was able to take a shower without freezing when I dry off. Those things are not in my head.

DIFFERENT BRANDS DO IN FACT WORK BETTER FOR SOME THAN OTHERS. IT IS NOT YOUR IMAGINATION. IT IS YOUR TRUTH. DO NOT EVER LET A DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST OR ANYBODY TELL YOU OTHERWISE.

Re: cat (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

Nope, they don't have a blocker. Most of the time people can get this medication instead of suboxone.

Re: Wendy (# 146) Expand Referenced Message

Hey Wendy! I've been on subutex 2mg- 32mg for about 8 years now. I am a cancer survivor and an RN. I had most of my procedures at the hospital where I worked and that's where I went wrong. I went home after my hysterectomy and mastectomy on whatever I ASKED FOR. My doc at the time was fentanyl patches Dilaudid and oxycontin XR and the rapid release morphine. After treatment was done I was forced to steal from the pixsys (the machine where we get YOUR meds, the PATIENTS). I would get one dose of pills for the PATIENT and 2 for me. After I got caught doing that I had to resort to stealing vials of meds. I never ever thought I would. But I did. A good lifelong friend and lover confronted me with the footage and ratted me out and dumped me "for my own good" because "sick people cannot take care of sick people". I was placed on leave with no pay and investigated. I was placed in handcuffs and led to a mandatory drug program. This was the start of my chemical romance with subutex. I've been on every dose possible, I've weaned myself off only to fail miserably and be forced to take it again. So, fast forward to thanksgiving night, and I'm awaiting having a spot on my liver removed next week and I'm weaning off again. I'm down to 2mg from 16. My husband came home from Walgreens and said their back to the orange ones love. I have never ever had these. I came across your post. Do they really not block? I've had the same experience with the mylan brand as well. I just think it's not fair when your really trying, and temptation gets the best of you, because it's a placebo, or a sugar pill. A true addict always pushes the envelope.

I've been getting the white 54s since 2011 and I'm still getting them to this day.

Their only posted what they were told. Pharmacist are just that pharmacist. I'm sick of them playing "DOCTOR". They overstep their bounds all the time. Who know what their actually being told on the phone?

Is subutex only prescribed to pregnant women or anyone, because that's what I heard at my dr's office?

I can take subs and do a perc 30 later and feel it, idk why everyone keeps saying you can’t or you’ll go into withdraw, it’s not correct.

Re: Amber (# 152) Expand Referenced Message

Amber, if you take subs and then oxycodone 30mg later YOU WILL NOT GO INTO WITHDRAWAL.

However, if you take a oxycodone 30mg and 2 hrs later take a subutex, you're done!!

Many ppl don't really know the answers here. They just post their experience. I am a recovering opiate addict (of 11 yrs active addiction) and have been on subs for 2 1/2 yrs now.

Trust me, I am here to tell you that you will not get sick by taking an opiate later on in the day after taking a sub. But one thing is for sure, you "feel" that oxycodone 30mg but not really. You are not feeling it as much as you normally would without the sub in your system.

Could just be me, but I prefer the subutex (orange crescent moon) ones because 2 reasons. #1 being there's no naloxone in them (naloxone makes me very nauseas) and #2 They don't have that sweet taste. The sweetness makes me even sicker! I can't tolerate that smell and taste of them.

Re: df (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

I've never have taken subutex but can't wait to try it... Basically, I get very sick if I cannot take opiates and I'm going to try it because it's been about 6 hours since I've dosed and I'm starting to get sick.

Re: Shay (# 27) Expand Referenced Message

There is no opiate blocker in Subutex the Subutex simply overpowers the opiates out of your receptors and unless you take enough Subutex it will remove the opiates out of your receptors without replacing anyting so you have to take enough Subutex to remove the other opiates out of your receptors and then refill them with the Subutex

JknowsIt (# 123) I really hope ppl who take bupremorphine know that subutex is actually a different drug than Subutex. Know what u are taking, kids. And for the love of Christ, half the information on this thread or more is completely incorrect.

Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

Not true it's 2017 now and I still get the white 54 411s and have gotten just that brand for 5 years straight now. No shortage or dea stopping their productions. It's just certain Pharms only have certain brands

Do you read what you wrote before you post? You made absolutely no sense to me and I'm really trying to get people's opinions to help with my own decision of the newer orange subtex
