Hi. I've started taking oralcon on Saturday but in different times. So tonight I had intercourse with my boyfriend and the condom burst. Does that mean I'm pregnant now? Please reply ASAP
Thank you

Hi, Sassy! How are you?

Did you start them the first day of your period?

If you start them the first day of your period, then you are immediately protected against pregnancy, since they will prevent ovulation.

However, if you weren't on your period, when you started taking them, then yes, there is a risk of your getting pregnant, because it takes 7 days for them to become effective in your body.

The only thing you can really do now is wait a week or two and then check for pregnancy.

Is there anything else I can help with?
