Ohio Doctors That Prescribe Xanax

I've had anxiety and bad panic disorder now for 15 yrs. I was taking 2mg 4 times daily Got new primary dr. He don't believe in xanax. He gave me a few to see how they work. Go back in first of aug. I need a Dr that understand my dilemma. Please refer me to someone that can help. Thank you

Even the patent holder of Xanax do not suggest 8 mg a day. When you're cut off, (and you will be) you are a prime candidate for withdrawal including a stroke

I am sorry, Jon! I do not have a list of doctors there to refer you to, I live on the west coast.

8mgs a day is not a commonly prescribed dosage, as Eddy has already stated, but doctors do have to adjust most dosages according to how the person responds to any given medication. The FDA warns that this one carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

Along with the withdrawal issue that Eddy mentioned, there is also a risk of seizures, if you stop taking it suddenly, especially at such a high dose.

Why did you switch doctors?

Hi~
You were looking for a doctor in the Ohio Area. There is a Dr. Seiple that is a fantastic MD, that will help you with your anxiety medication. He is great. He is in the Hudson Area. And if you would rather see a female physician Dr. Cynthia Dilauro MD she is in the Cuyahoga Falls Area. She is on Graham Road. She is excellent with your anxiety medication. I like both doctors. I'm an RN so I know a lot of the doctors.

Do you know of any doctors closer to Uniontown or North Canton that will prescribe klonopin. I havent run into any problems yet..but feel i need to find a new pcp

My family doctor has been prescribing Klonopin 1 mg forever to me. He's right outside of Hudson Ohio. Right outside of Stow. Right outside of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio.

Hello I was wondering if you could help me find a Dr who will prescribe my Xanax. I've been on Xanax everyday since 1993 my Dr retired I had another psychiatrist and she retired. Now another came in and less than 2 months has cut me down to the 0.25s looking to completely take me off next month. I think the only few days I went without caused me to have 2 seizures because they found no other reason. But she will not listen to that I've had 2 strokes in the past due to having heart issues from a child and PTSD . I have severe panic / anxiety and need my medicine it's the only thing in my 50 years of life that's helped me if someone could please recommend a Dr for me it would be a lifesaver. I'm raising my 3 grandson's 2,4 and 11 and I feel like I'm on a cliff teetering. Please help!!

I'm looking for a prescribing Dr in or near Fairborn Ohio. I suffer from severe anxiety, & panic attacks that effect my everyday life. In 2009 I was receiving 1mg Xans 3x's a day which was a blessing. I ended up losing my insurance and couldn't afford the office çall. Now 13 yrs later my anxiety is effecting my ability to do even the easiest things. I have insurance now but having a difficult time finding a prescriber. Any help is greatly appreciated. Agian looking in Fairborn, Dayton, or Greene co. TIA

You should drop by an E.R. if those symptoms come back or get worse. I would find a family practitioner who can help you get this under control.

I need a benzodiazapine for panic & agoraphobia. My dr took me off after 43 yrs on xanax. Just wanted to let you know I feel your pain & us who really need it are not getting it due to those looking to abuse it. And the drs that get you hooked, want to take no responsibility. Hang in there - I will say a prayer, as my heart went out to you!!! Wish we had an answer.
