Worried mother Says:

Hi, my daughter is 19 and a month ago started with nur-isterate. She has irregular menstrual cycles and she had a vaginal discharge that almost looks like flesh with a blood clot and her menstruation is heavy with pain over the lower abdomen. What could it be?

Those can be normal side effects of taking this medication, according to the NIH. She may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes.

Has anything changed? Is she on any other medications?

I stopped using nur isterate 4 years back and I used to literally be on my periods like all the time except for the day that I used to go for my injection and the day after, or maybe 2 or 3. It made me lose a lot of weight. I just got back to using it today, now I’d like to know if my system will react to it the same way or could it react to it differently..?
