found a white pill on the floor and it is white round small line on one side snd numbers on the other side. has been stepped on cant make out the numbers but I see a 5 at the beginning?

In regards to the first tablet asked about, if there are no markings, then the chances of positively identifying it are slim. However, prescription tablets are required to have markings, so we can rule it out as being Methadone.

Kelly, the marking is needed to identify a tablet.

Yes that sounds like a methadone pill, however to be sure you can always go on google and look up the picture of a 5mg methadone pill. the number is 55 57 and the 10mg also start with a 5, but not sure I think it is like 5425 or something like that, and these are just the numbers I a familiar with. I am sure they have a whole lot more manufacturers with different numbers thats why its best to double check ---- Hope this helps

I live in Spokane Washington. I'm 56 years old. I've been on 10 Mg. Methadone for 18 years for chronic pain. My doctor is retiring in about a year, and I don't know anyone in this town that prescribes Methadone. Does anyone have any good advice? TIA. JB
