Hi, i have recently been prescribed norgestimate eth-estradiol and i have never taken BCP, so i am confused about when to start because its already been 10 days after my last period.

You can start them at any time, however, if they aren't started on the first day of your menstrual cycle, then you will need to use additional protection for the first 7 days, before they will become effective at preventing pregnancy.

I'm taking Tri-Linyah (ethinyl estradiol + norgestimate). Do I continue to take the inactive pills after my period has started?
