Hello sinnerman,

According to NIH there is no way to 100% curb the withdrawal symptoms of stopping opiods. According to the American addictions center organization there are some ways that you can allevaite some of the symptoms or at least not make them worse than they need to be. The list is as follows.

- Nutritional support, through diet and/or vitamin supplements
- Hydration
- Hydrotherapy, including baths and whirlpools
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- Anti-nausea medications
- Topical analgesics
- Natural sleep supplements
- Antidiarrheal medications

Of course I urge you to get help from family, friends and medical professionals as this process is extremely difficult and makes people more vulnerable and susceptible to relapse. A strong support system helps to ensure you are going to stick with the process and helps you through the times that you may not feel strong enough to move forward. I wish you the best of luck.

When I was withdrawing from hydrocodone and morphine my doc prescribed Clonidine to help. It didn't stop the symptoms 100% but it did help.
