No Money Or Insurance But Need Adderall

How can i obtain a prescription for adderall when i live in LA, have no health insurance whatsoever, and no money to pay for a doctor visit much less the pills? I know it would help me and don't know where to turn

Have you tried checking to see if there are any clinics in you are that will let you see a doctor on a sliding fee scale?

These are usually geared towards people with no insurance and they base their fees on your income, so if you don't have a lot of money you pay nothing or a very low fee.

As for the Adderall itself, if they do give you a prescription for it, the manufacturer, Shire RIchwood, INC has an assistance program that you can apply for by calling them at 1-866-325-8229.

There are many different assistance programs available, so if you do get to see a doctor and he prescribes something different, please post back and I can check to see if there is a program for it, as well.

Hi. I just got put on disability. There's no insurance coverage until you've been on it for 2 years. So I need my Adderall and fentanyl patches. I went to a pharmacy and they would not let me buy it out of pocket. Thet said that they don't know if I could have just gotten a script from somewhere else. I told them to call my dr., it's been a month. I'm going through bad withdrawal. Please, any help is appreciated. I was told by the s.s. disability it will not be a problem. Wtf? Now I hated that I had to go on disability but had no choice. I need these now. I live in ST. LOUIS MISSOURI. THANK YOU. HUGS AND KISSES.

Did u ever have any success? Here in st.Louis also and was just diagnosed with rare incurable disease that is the most painful disease in the world and I am having a hard time with these damn doctors. Took 20 doctors, every mri, catscan, xray, 3bone density scan and nerve conduction tests until i finally wS.diagnosed 3months of 24hr 7days a.week crying nonstop, so everything is such a pain with this disease so I'm on month 4 asking every one of my doctors about my debilitating pain, constant panic attacks and my brain fog, memoryloss and 0% focus I'm literally dying from this and no one cares, I've tried every dr and specialist and alternative medicine. With my 5yr old starting kindergarten and me just starting to learn to walk again for being paralyzed 10months, I am.also looking for helping the st.louis region.

Try going to Voc rehab and getting on the program. They can help with Dr. visits, medicine, coaching, counseling etc. Costco pharmacy by far has the cheapest prescriptions over anyone. You don’t need a membership, but if you do have one they can reduce the price even more as well as a prescription savings card. Also, check Needymeds.
