nezkil is the brand name of linezolid marketed by continental pharmaceuticals in pakistan.it is available as 600mg tablet with MRP of Rs.178 per tab and 600mg infusion in 300ml vial with MRP of Rs.600 per vial.Nezkil is indicated in treating bacterial infections caused by multi drug resistant gram-positive bacteria like nosocomial pneumonia,skin and soft tissue infections and blood stream infections.it has some off the label indications such as bone and joint infections ,surgical site infections.

I am a patient who just had surgery and was administered Nezkil via IV and then tablets orally at home. The side effect was the issue. I felt Nezkil caused severe hyper peristalsis where I could feel the racing of the intestines and strange sensations of 'living skin' snakes inside (due to active intestinal movements) and overactive sensations in the mind due to the pace increase causing anxiety as well
