Nexito contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, this is an SSRI antidepressant.

That said, yes, it can cause sexual side effects, such as erectile dysfunction and loss of libido.

Other side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

No, I don't mind at all, it's what I am here for, ask anything you want and I will gladly help if I can.

And it's Ms. but I know it's hard to tell from my username.

1) The side effects will start to taper off as your body gets used to the medication. That means they will lessen in severity. You also may not experience all of them or any of them, because not all medications have the same affect on everyone.

And if you stop taking it, it can take about a month, but it will eventually process out of your body and it will get rid of all side effects.

2) If you stop taking it suddenly, you can experience both withdrawal and rebound effects.

This is due to the fact that your body will, once again, have to get used to not having this chemical.

The withdrawal effects will not be as severe as they are for someone who is abusing medications, but they can be annoying and can include things such as: nausea, diarrhea, dizziness and chills/fever.

The rebound effects can mean that for a period of time you may experience worsening of the condition that you were taking it for.

And I'm sorry, I almost forgot to include that part, to stop these types of medications, to negate the withdrawal and rebound effects, the normal procedure is to slowly taper them off, by slowly lowering the dosage you are taking.
