New To Zubsolv 5.7 Mg

Updated

i just started zubsolv and i love it. most pharmacy's did not carry it. however, it can be ordered overnight. most insurance covers it but may need a pre-aurthorization. its much easier to take then suboxan tabs or strips. you still put it under your tongue but it dissolve quickly. it did burn at first but this went away after a couple minutes and there's no gross glue aftertaste like sub. strips. the 5.7mg. is confusing at first. i contacted Orexo, the company that makes zubsolve. they explained that its simply a different formulation. you are actually absorbing 8 mg.......good luck to all !!!

Hi Diana, I'm glad to hear that your experience with ZUBSOLV has been positive so far. I have worked in addiction treatment for several years with my area of expertise being medication assisted treatment, and I also work with Orexo.

Do you know about Orexo's RISE program? Orexo, the maker of ZUBSOLV (buprenorphine and naloxone) sublingual tablet (CIII), has launched this 24/7, real-time support program developed with the help of people with opioid dependence to meet the real-world needs of patients and their support team. The program is 100% free for patients to use and it:
-Provides continuous access to information and resources throughout the recovery process.
-Offers customization based on patient needs.
-Is mobile-enabled for access anywhere, anytime.
-Facilitates 2-way communication between the patient and his or her doctor.

If you are interested in learning more I encourage you to visit the site at rise-us.com and then ask your prescribing physician about getting an enrollment code. If you choose to use it as part of your program, I would love to hear if you are finding it helpful.

I wish you the best of luck in your treatment and recovery.

ZUBSOLV is a controlled substance (CIII) because it contains buprenorphine, which can be a target for people who abuse prescription medicines or street drugs. Keep your ZUBSOLV in a safe place to protect it from theft. Never give your ZUBSOLV to anyone else; it can cause death or harm them. Selling or giving away this medicine is against the law. Keep ZUBSOLV in a secure place away from children. If a child accidentally takes ZUBSOLV, this is a medical emergency and can result in death. Get emergency help right away.

Do not IV ZUBSOLV. Doing so may cause life-threatening infections and other serious health problems. IV'ing ZUBSOLV may cause serious withdrawal symptoms such as pain, cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, anxiety, sleep problems, and cravings

Note: I am compensated by Orexo to provide expertise and for my time to post.

Hi Diane, I'm so glad that Zubsolv is working for you. I took Suboxone when it came out years ago, however, my Doctor prescribes it for my back pain. My Doctor was happy to switch me over and figure out the equivalent dosage since it is a bit odd. Many of us need to switch to Zubsolv because of insurance issues. I can't stress hard enough how important it is to really make your doctor figure the new dosage out for the patience or it will not work as good, making Zubsolv a negative experience. It's great, I love it too. I can't wait until the FDA approves these types of medication for actual pain relief like some European Countries have been doing. It will cut back on people getting addicted to the kind of opiates that gets most people into trouble. What does that say about our FDA? Maybe they want people hooked on drugs so the pharmaceutical companies profit. It's not a good thing. Good luck with your new meds and thanks for sharing. I hope this will teach the makers and distributors of these types of medication, not to price gouge. I bet Suboxone drops in price pretty soon. We shall see.
