Need New Clonazepam Doctor In Minneapolis, Mn
UpdatedI used to be prescribed 4 mg of clonazepam daily for 2 years for anxiety and pannic attacks by a wonderful and empathetic doctor. After the 2 years, his clinic switched to inpatient only and I had to find a new doctor. My new psychiatrist does not believe benzodiazepines should be taken along with methadone and openly considers me a drug seeker. She wont even meet with me for more than 20 minutes before hurrying me out the door (usually with a script for a medicine I don't want or need.) I tried one other psychiatrist after her but got a similar treatment. I have been on methadone for 8 years now but I'm very stable and hoping to start detoxing in the near future. I have suffered from anxiety for 15 years which include bizarre feelings of vertigo, confusion, panic, irrational fear, night terrors and the feeling like I need to hide somewhere. (I've heard it called impending doom?) The attacks sometimes subside quickly, other times they last hours. Over the years I've been given all types of antidepressants, antipsychotics and even antihistamines. None of these help but to make me feel confused, mentally slow and even ill. Benzodiazepines (mainly Clonazepam) are by far the best medicines. They make me feel calm and collected but not sedated. I need a new doctor right away, one who listens and cares about his or her patients. Thanks a ton!
